Distinguish a glossy surface from fibre content, then decide how much additional shine the outfit needs.

A saree described as silk-look may have a glossy appearance without being made from silk. Check the fibre and care information rather than inferring it from shine or from a photograph. For styling, begin with the visible surface: a highly reflective saree already creates changing highlights as you move.
Drape it and compare the blouse in the same light. A matte blouse can provide contrast and make the saree's surface more noticeable. A glossy blouse can create a continuous effect. Neither is wrong, but two different kinds of shine may look less coordinated than their colours suggest, so view the actual fabrics together.
If you want the saree to lead, try smaller earrings and a bag with a quieter finish. If a statement necklace is the piece you most want to wear, check it against the pallu and neckline. The question is whether you like the combined emphasis, not whether shiny clothing is allowed with jewellery.
A smooth metallic shoe can repeat the sheen subtly, while a heavily embellished shoe introduces more texture. Make the choice after checking hem clearance and comfort. An attractive finish does not compensate for a strap that catches the saree or a height that changes the drape unexpectedly.
Look at the bag hardware as well as the bag material. A small bag with a large reflective clasp may draw more attention than a larger plain one. Keep the capacity useful for the event and inspect projecting details for snagging against fine fabric.
Try the complete outfit in daylight and a typical indoor room. A saree that appears softly lustrous in one setting can look much more reflective in another. You do not need to control every possible light, but the comparison helps you choose accessories with realistic expectations.
Follow the garment's own care instructions when preparing it. Do not use a silk care routine solely because the surface resembles silk, and do not choose an iron temperature by appearance. If the label is unclear, ask the seller or an appropriate cleaner before applying heat. The styling can remain simple once the fabric's actual handling requirements are understood.
